IN NEW YORK - An out-of-control SUV slammed into
the back of a delivery van in Greenwich Village, killing one worker and
injuring three others, police said. Police identified the SUV's driver
as Christian J. Robinson, of East Orange, N.J. He has been charged with
driving while intoxicated.

Additional
charges, including possible manslaughter charges, are pending, police
said. Authorities said the accident happened around Grove Street and
Seventh Avenue South at about 7:20 am.
The SUV slammed into with a grey Ford Econoline van where three males were unloading produce.
Antonio Barranco, 36, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Daily News reported that Barranco's leg was severed.

The driver of the car walked away from the crash but then collapsed in
shock, the News said. He refused to take a Breathalyzer test.
Barranco was part of a five-person crew delivering produce to several West Village restaurants.
Another
worker, Luis Romero, was being treated for his injuries at Bellevue
Hospital Center. Two others, including an 11-year-old boy, suffered
minor injuries.

For as long as I can remember Driving in NYC has always been a nightmare.

I think everybody should be more careful while driving and then things like this one could never happen. Every driver must not drive at high speeds and must be very careful.

Yeah luky Thats exactly what I mean..driving in NYC is frustrating because with all the traffic you can't make it about 1 block every 3 minutes trapped in bumper to bumper traffic, angry trying to make the quickest possible exit out of all the congestion, pretty much all day long and at night its even worse. No

What even sadder is This Guy was driving drunk at like 7:30 in the morning in NY when he killed and injured these people. Evil or Very Mad Drunk @ 7am & Driving....Fwap..That's Horrible.

Never Drink and Drive Luky, ok? No

No i won't. I can't drive anyway since i don't have a license LOL . But i won't drink and drive even after I will get a license. I promise. There are huge traffic jams in my country also especially since this is the capital city and it has about 3 million people living in it.
