| Do you believe in alternative treatments like: acupuncture, magnets( I've heard there are lots of people who use magnets during games they play). There are also some people who claim that it is better to treat yourself with poisons that could have effected you in the first place(only a very small dose of poison, given by a specialist) just like the saying: You can put out the fire with fire.
I honestly don't know what do believe since scientifically there is no proof that these things work, but there are lots of people ho say that they have been healed by these kind of treatments especially acupuncture treatments. I think that this is a mind over matter issue. If you believe that acupuncture or magnets could heal you in some cases they actually might(of course this only works if you have small illnesses not big ones like cancer). i also think that after you are diagnose with such a disses and you try all of the medical advices that you can and take all the medications and you're health is the same or it gets worst I think that people are willing to the anything in order for them to feel better and so they try alternative medicine as well, and they also try anything they can in order for them to recover from their illness. What do you people think? | |

| I agree. People will try anything to get rid of thier aliments.. Now does it really work? I don't know..I have scoliosis of the spine {Which is an unatural curvage of my spine} and I went to a chiropractor for 1 yr to try and help me with managing the pain..And what I found is that it worked temporarily to easy my pain. But I had to go 4xz a week to keep the pain at bay.. but financially it was becoming a strain on the insurance coverage I had so after 1 yr I decided to say the hell with the chiropractor because it could never fix my problem all 2gether just keep me coming back for the temporary fix..The doc finally told me the best way to easy my pain would be to get a breast reduction and an MRI to see why the treatment wasn't working..I have big boobies "38 DDD" which only contributes to the problem. But now i wear a back brace to keep my back straight most of the time, which helps some when it comes to chasing after and keeping up with my 2 lil girls all day. Now Accupuncture I dont think I would ever try . Just the thought of all those pins in me kinda freaks me out. | |
