Ever have a blind date that went so horribly wrong. It is now in your
hall of shame memories forever. Yep..I've had a handful of doozies
myself. But here's one sad tale of dating gone wrong..lol
I went
on a blind date as per request of my best friend with some guy named
Todd she knew. She begged me to date him because she was in lust with
his brother haha. So she told Todd I'd agreed to meet him at
Rockerfella Center in NYC after work to go Ice Skating with him. Well
she shouldn't have waited till noon that same day and just left that
message on my voice mail at work..#1 Woof! Didn't please me to have to
race across town immediately after work to meet this stranger. So I get
out of the cab still complaining about this to her on my cell in front
of rockerfella center as she describes him to me, what he said he'd be
wearing..And there he was..standing 20 feet way from me smiling
,waving..I almost died at how opposite we 2 were that I completely just
moaned and hung up on my friend..lol
Well it wasn't that god awful
at first he seemed ok sweet i think.. He did bring me roses. So we went
ice skating and he kept claiming to come here all the time thats how he
saw me skating here b4 blah blah. Then we get on the Ice and hes an
idiot cant even stand straight , so I held his hand and tried to guide
him as I secretly smiled and just wanted to kill my best friend..lol..
But after a few turns around he kept dragging me down with him. It was
driving me nuts getting up, helping him up. That I said forget this ,
lets go get a drink instead, so we go to the bar inside after we
returned the icky rental skates.. And he orders a bottle of champagne,
which the bartender offered to open for us, but he insisted on doing it
himself..hah Yeah well he popped it open alright and spilled it right
down the front of my dress I almost died as the bartender watched the
whole fiasco unravel..Uugh so I excused myself as he apologized to go
freshen in the ladies room ( And called my best friend again to yell at
her and hang up on her again,while i fluffed up ) So I go back outside
and he kept apologizing and saying let me make it up to you, let me
take you out to dinner. ( Pfft!~ I was so halfway out the door already
hailing a cab in my mind) As he drapped my coat around my shoulders and
extended his hand sayin he wont take no for an answer. uugh I figure ok
wth , what else could possibly go wrong, rite? So he takes me to this
cool quite place in the east village with kick ( No Swearing ) music and everything
almost for a seconds seemed kinda cool then the salad came, and as we
began to eat he started having a very bad nosebleed ..I mean like
gushing blood everywhere I tried to tell him to tilt his head back and
help him but he wouldn't listen and kept trying to be calm and
apologize with blood pouring down all over him. He noticed all eyes on
him as I called the waiter for more napkins or a hand towel. But he got
up, threw his wallet on the table and left. Left me sitting there, just
like that. Hows that for strange? I fedex'd his wallet back to him to
the address on his license the next day at work and have never heard of
or seen him again..LOL
