Suicide...

A former friend of mine from the internet lost his mom to suicide a few years back, devastated him completely, well I found out today his grandfather also committed suicide lastnight I feel so bad right now..I dont understand why this keeps happening to him like this..Its almost heartwrenching really

are in a better place

Awww that's so horrible, your poor friend I wish there was something I could say to convey the magnitude of the situation

Thats such a horrible thing! Just remind him that they will never be gone, they will always be in his heart.

Thanx Guys. I have tried to speak with my friend but he has closed himself away completely. I can only hope he is doing ok and pray I will hear from him again some day.

Life goes on regardless of the setbacks and disapointments that get dished out to us. I know this is easy to say but we have to rise above it. To just give up is really the easy way out no matter how cruel that may sound. We must dig deep to find strength ,if not for ourselves then for the peope who love us. What we do affects all of those close to us.If I am sad then my true friends are sad for me. This gives me strength. We have to share our grief, not keep it to ourselves.

wow, i know im new and i dont know you all well enough yet but that story was heartbreaking! i do hope your friend is much better now , the loss will never fade but time can hopefully heal

hi nessa, its been a while now and i hope your friend is feeling a bit stronger now. I lost my brother to suicide 5 years ago come the 20th of december. Like it is said, lost ones stay a part of us and time is a great healer

well you have tried nessa from the sounds of it, lets hope he hasnt done anything like that, and is taking time out.

Hello allo. It's been a while since I posted due to the loss of mpy love who once posted here, but as she apparently doesn't come on anymore, i may announce that she lft me in the most cruel manner ever possible and this after her admission that it is she who started the relationship and her promises to not add to my previous hurts. And you may wonder what it has to do with this topics? I will tell you. I did not plan to commit suicide, indeed. But I know why some do, even if it is not the solution. A weekafter that, i was recording on my computer that song known in Scotland "my heart's in the highland" and was doing it to explain my tag on msn to some one. When I hit the words "Fairwell to the Highlands" I could not suppress my tears and my heart sank. I really wished to die that night. And I am still not healed from that hurt. And you know, many times when you are hurt, and especially in my immediate surroundings, you are alone. So I hope your friend has done anything drastic. But I suppose that desire to die, even if not to kill ourselves has come to many of us once at least. Cheers. John
